Today efficiency, speed and pushing through are often valued over patience, ease and slowing down. Our lives are so full and fast-paced that being still, moving slowly and trusting in the power of allowing things to unfold feels challenging and out of place. This workshop will explore several slower, subtler sides of yoga, specifically Meditation as well as broader ideas and benefits of slowing down.
Motherhood, meditation, travel, writing and deep reflection are sources of tremendous inspiration for Rhia. Her classes use the physical practices as access points to the more subtle and spiritual aspects of yoga such as observing mental and emotional patterns, and connecting to Spirit.
